The trail traverses from Drugyel Dzong toward the base of Mount Jomolhari (7,326m), a sacred peak for the Bhutanese people. This is a uniquely challenging hike that covers 27km (17 miles) round-trip, typically done at night to reach the summit for sunrise. On exceptionally clear days, this is one of the only places on Earth where you can see both the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea simultaneously.
