The Hadrian's Wall Path is a continuous 84-mile (135km) National Trail that stretches from coast to coast across northern England. It follows the remnants of the Roman defensive wall built by Emperor Hadrian in AD 122 CE. The hike begins in Wallsend (Newcastle upon Tyne) and ends at Bowness-on-Solway on the west coast.
